Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped millions of men and women become more confident in front of an audience. The Toastmasters Club in Sofia exists since the year 2000. Its learn-by-doing program is sure to help you become a better speaker and leader.

How does it work?

Communication isn't optional; good and effective communication, however, is sometimes hard to achieve.

The Toastmasters club provides you with an adequate and efficient step program that helps you develop and improve your communication skills in a friendly, supportive and self-paced environment.

During the various steps of the program, you will be giving and receiving feedback and ongoing evaluations to keep track of your progress and get the proper encouragement to get better and better at public speaking and leadership.

Each meeting gives the club members to acquire and practice the following skills:

Conducting meetings

Members learn how to plan and conduct meetings.

Giving impromptu speeches

Members present one- to two-minute impromptu speeches on assigned topics.

Presenting prepared speeches

Two or more members present speeches based on projects from manuals in Toastmasters’ proven communication and/or leadership programs. Projects cover topics such as speech organization, vocal variety, language, gestures and persuasion.

Offering constructive evaluation

Every prepared speaker is assigned an evaluator who points out speech strengths and offers suggestions for improvement.
